The Corporate Governance & Quality Assurance (CGQA) office is one of the departments under the Vice Chancellor’s office that was established in 2017. The main task is to ensure the accreditation of all programs are recognized by the Malaysian Accreditation Agency (MQA) and other related professional bodies. Besides that, the CGQA office is also responsible for ensuring the Quality Management System is at an excellent level. To date, University Selangor has successfully obtained an ISO 20001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) certificate awarded by SIRIM QAS. Quality assurance is a crucial aspect, particularly in universities, to maintain consistency and reliability for customer satisfaction, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, which lead to the enhancement of the university’s reputation. 

The CGQA office is led by a Director, assisted by Deputy Directors, Assistant Registrar, and Administrative Officers. There are three units: 

  1. Corporate Governance and Integrity
  2. Academic Quality and Accreditation
  3. Quality Management

The CGQA office is committed to ensuring the corporate governance and quality assurance matters are under control and satisfying all parties.
